Remove all insulation. Sanitize attic with bacteria killing agent. Install baffles to keep insulation in the proper place. Insulate chests of drawers with fiberglass batts. Air seal all cracks and crevices and penetrations from wiring, plumbing, and HVAC, etc. Weatherstrip and insulate attic door. Blow in all new cellulose insulation to a depth of 14 inches. Seal up with coil stock metal any entry points for rodents in attic
