Why did the customer contact us?

The customer needed new flooring for their kitchen.

Solutions provided:

Inspection of the area under the kitchen revealed some old rotted flooring and some repairs that were made. The original repairs did not fully address the initial complaints of floor flex so the following is strongly recommended. Remove and replace approximately 12 LF of damaged/rotted sill plate with new pressure treated sill plate. Install and sister in 4 new floor joists, non treated, mechanically laminate to existing joists. This will require temporary localized support of the structure to complete repairs.
