The customer needed new attic insulation.

Solutions provided:

In attic space install can light covers over recess lights with non-combustible air tight covers sealed with spray foam. Install baffles around hvac unit, entry point, and at soffit lines/eaves. Insulate entry point with insulation foam board with radiant barrier and install weather stripping around entry point for better energy efficiency. Seal top plates, junction boxes, conduit lines, and other penetration points with spray foam to air seal as best as possible. Blow in new cellulose insulation over existing insulation in smaller attic spaces to reach levels of R49. Blow over existing insulation in main attic space (larger)with new cellulose insulation to reach levels of 14 inches (R49).
