Why did the customer contact us?

The customer needed new attic insulation.

Solutions provided:

Remove all the insulation, fecal matter, and nesting in the main attic space only. (Vaulted section over garage area inaccessible). Sterifab to disinfect and treat for mites, lice, and bacteria. Install new baffles at the soffit lines and around the entry point. Install can light covers over the recess lights. Air seal the gap and conduit lines with spray foam insulation for better energy efficiency. Insulate the entry door with foam board insulation and install weather stripping around the entry point. Blow in new cellulose insulation to R49 (14 inches).

Install metal color to match home as best as possible (saddle) on three eaves on the front of the home. Install one RVG (roof vent guard) over the attic fan to prevent entry of animals.
Include sealing up corner channels and conduit lines that mice could enter the home.
