Customer needed new insulation due past infestation

Solutions provided:

Existing insulation to be removed by a different company prior to summit installing the new insulation. Sterifab to disinfect the entire attic space. Air seal any gaps and conduit lines with spray foam for energy efficiency. Insulate the entry door with foam board and install weather stripping around the entry point. Install new baffles at the soffit lines and around the entry point. Blow in new cellulose insulation to reach levels of 14 inches (R49).

Remove the old attic fan and replace with a new attic fan with both thermostat and a humidistat. Install an roof vent guard (RVG) over the attic fan to prevent entry of animals into the attic space. While crew is on the roof the front metal exhaust vent gap will be nailed down and sealed with roofing caulk.

Install new shingled ridge vent along the top apex of the roof.

Remove both small soffit strips on the front and rear of the home. Replace with new soffit strips.

Replace section of front decorative trim board that has becomes warped. Paint with color to match existing as best as possible.

Seal the bottom side/gap on both firewall metal caps to prevent entry of bats into the attic space.

Bat droppings we’re seen in the attic space. Is a possibility that bats entered within through the front gap on the decorative trim board, gap on the exhaust vent, or gaps at the firewall metal cap.
