Job completed for Ada B.

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer needed new attic insulation.

Solutions provided:

Remove all of the blown in insulation and any trash in the attic space. Air seal gaps and conduit lines with closed cell spray foam for energy efficiency. Use Steirfab to disinfect the attic space. Use copper cloth on possible entry points for mice in the attic space. Install baffles at the soffit line and around the new storage area. Install plywood for the storage area indicated by the technician (12×20) area. Insulate the entry door with foam board insulation and install weather stripping at the entry point. Install can light covers over the recess lights. Blow in new cellulose insulation to reach levels of R49 (14 inches). The new storage boards will only have 6 inches of cellulose underneath.
