Why did the customer contact us?

The customer needed new attic insulation.

Solutions provided:

Remove all accessible batted insulation and indicated items from the attic space. Floor boards and insulation under floor boards will remain in place. Floor boards will be swept of roof debris as best as possible. Air seal accessible gaps and conduit lines with spray foam insulation. Use Sterifab to disinfect the entire attic space. Install baffles at the soffit lines and around the entry point. Use baffles to create a walkway to the built in storage closet in the attic space. Install foam board insulation over the top of the stairs entry point. Blow in new cellulose insulation to reach levels of 14 inches (R49) through out the attic space.
Include remove mesh screen on two side gable vents and removing the nesting. Install a new mesh on the inside of the gables. Install a quarter inch stainless steel screen on the outside of the two gable vents to prevent entry of wildlife into the attic space.
