Why did the customer contact us?

The customer needed new attic insulation.

Solutions provided:

Inside the home, remove the batter fiberglass insulation from the indicated rim joists in the living room. Spray foam the rim joists with 2 inches of closed cell spray foam. Spray foam the elbow of the supply trunk line with closed cell spray foam.
From the exterior of the home, remove the indicated section of siding in the right side of the home (will only be from the first floor to the basement area. Remove the celotex board and batted fiberglass insulation covering the supply trunk line. Spray foam the supply trunk line with closed cell spray foam. Re install the existing fiberglass insulation and the celotex board. (If the celotex board is damaged in the process summit will replace at $50 additional per section) Tape the seams to prevent air penetration. Install a tyvek in the area of siding that was removed. Re install the siding as best as possible
