Job completed for Stephanie B.

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer needed new attic insulation.

Solutions provided:

Removal all of the batted fiberglass insulation in the main attic space. Include removal and disinfection (Sterifab) of the mouse fecal matter. Air seal gaps and conduit lines for energy efficiency. Install weather stripping at the entry point. Install baffles at the front soffit lines and around the hvac unit. Install can light covers over the recess lights. Blow in new cellulose insulation to reach R49 (14 inches) in areas that this can be installed.

Install stainless steel screen on two gable vents on both sides of the home. Install copper cloth and clear caulk under the bigger gaps of the rake board near the gable vents. Install one RVG over the attic fan to prevent entry of animals into the attic space. Seal up on small hole on right rear of the sun room indicated by the technician.
There is no one hundred percent seal out for mice. Only with a continuous rodent program can the mouse population be controlled.
