Why did the customer contact us?

The customer needed new attic insulation.

Solutions provided:

Blow over existing insulation in the main attic space to reach levels of 14 inches. New cellulose insulation will be used. Areas closer to the soffit lines will have only 10 inches due to the small nature of the attic space. New baffles will be added to the soffit lines to keep proper ventilation. Baffles will be installed around the hvac unit. Foam board insulation will be installed on the entry door and weather stripping at the entry point.
In the rear attic space no insulation was found. Blow over the flat areas of the attic only. Blow in 14 inches of cellulose insulation. Baffles will be added at the soffit lines. An attic tent will be installed for energy efficiency.
