Solutions provided:

Install heavy gauge stainless steel attic roof fan guard. This is a very common entry point for squirrels, flying squirrels, and raccoons — they can push the small screen attached to the fan housing aside, or chew through it, or pull it off in the case of a raccoon. Caulk to seal gaps at chimney and siding at attic level. Seal out both louver vents with heavy gauge stainless steel screen, as animals chew through the slats. Seal one small opening in attic at right side at eave.
