Customer contacted us to replace attic insulation.
Solutions provided:
Remove all of the batted fiberglass insulation. Use Sterifab to disinfect the attic space. Secure the hvac supply connections with additional hvac tape. Install new baffles at the soffit lines around the entry point. Air seal gaps and conduit lines with spray foam for energy efficiency. Insulate the entry door with foam board insulation and install weather stripping around the entry point. Blow in new cellulose insulation to reach levels of 14 inches (R49).
With insulation work done summit will install two roof boot covers over the sewage exhaust pipes that are broken.
Route one existing bathroom to a new 223 vent. Use an insulated flex line to route the to the 223 vent installed by summit.
Install a new bathroom fan in the upstairs bathroom that does not currently have one. Use an insulated flex line to route to a 223 vent that will be installed by summit.
Install a custom drip edge (white metal) along the second story gutter line to help prevent water from damaging the fascia board further.
