Bat Removal

There are 16 species of bats in Virginia. Four (Gray Bat, Indiana Bat, Virginia-Big-eared Bat, and Rafinesque’s Big-eared Bat) are protected as endangered species, but 12 are not. None of the three types of bats most likely to take residence in a building (Big Brown Bat, Evening Bat, and Little Brown Bat) are protected species. Let us remove your unwanted bats, regardless of species.

Raccoon Removal

Raccoons are one of the most common nuisance animals in Northern Virginia and won’t hesitate to take up residence in attics, chimneys, crawl spaces, barns, etc. A thumping or stomping noise in your attic is a common sign of a raccoon infestation. It is essential to remove them and relocate them far away, because they often rip open ducts, chew on electrical wiring, contaminate, tear and even destroy insulation.

Squirrel Removal

Squirrels are not shy about taking up residence in your attic, especially during the winter, and can cause a great deal of damage while there. Their nesting sites turn into toxic messes because cleaning up squirrel feces presents a health hazard. Flying squirrels require different trapping techniques and are harder to get rid of, but SES can remove all types of squirrels from your home.

Snake Removal

When you see a snake regularly on your property, you’ll want to have it removed because it probably has built a den in your crawl space on in a nearby area where it can access your home for warmth. If you’ve got a snake inside your house, don't try to catch it because of the danger of a snake bite. Instead, call SES. Our specialists are trained to humanely catch and remove troublesome snakes from homes and properties.

Skunk Removal

Skunks carry rabies and emit a foul-smelling spray. You don't want them in your home and you should not try to trap them yourself. Instead, SES' wildlife control specialists are trained to humanely catch and remove troublesome skunks from homes and attics.

Our animal removal crews are available on a 24/7/365 basis! All the repair work done by our trained repair technicians is guaranteed for 12 months. If you call SES to have a technician reinspect the work before the end of 12 months, we will guarantee it for an additional year!

I received excellent service from Ernie who removed a baby male sparrow who found its way into my small heater furnace and air conditioning room and then got stuck face and body down on three of my stickey trays that I had previously put on the floor. The dear bird was barely alive and Ernie took it outside and used my corn oil to extremely gently remove the little bird from the stickey trays. Then he held the weak dehydrated bird and lifted him over my birdbath to let him drink plenty of water. Ernie saved this bird's life! Then he placed the bird under my bushes. After just a few minutes we discovered the bird must have moved himself since we could not see him anymore. We think that he was still too young to fly away. The old hymn of the Church is called His Eye Is On The Sparrow, and says "I knoe He watches me!" Then Ernie expertly located two birds nests and small entry holes on my rooftop and took photos showing their debris. Workers from Summit will come to pull out the bird nests and fill the holes leading into my home and rooftop area with a certain material. Thank you so very much Ernie!

Summit has really been our partners when we were in need of help with pest control. They were dependable and effective. We also had our roof done with them and have enjoyed having a free inspection from time to time. This gives us real peace of mind. Would not hesitate to recommend them to any of our friends and neighbors!

It was a pleasure dealing with Summit Environmental Solutions to solve our leaky basement issue. Joe gave us a fair estimate and was very helpful in all aspects of the job. The crew showed up on time and were very pleasant, polite, and professional. There was one minor issue on the placement of the drain in the yard, but it was resolved amicably. I would definitely recommend this company.

Pest Control: when I called Summit in a panic from the small snake that was in our home, Jessica helped me to calm down and reviewed all my options and pricing. We decided we wanted to move forward with a survey of our newly purchased home and go from there. She called for a consultant to come by that same day within a few hours. Although I was still quite frantic, Will, walked me through our entire home top to bottom and inside and out to share where the snake was coming from and how we could resolve the issues, both immediately and long term. Regardless of wanting to spend any money during the holidays, we wanted to protect our family and our investment - Will was extremely cordial and went out of his way to make sure we understood all that was being done to protect our home. I am grateful for the experience and will recommend to anyone who will listen! Thank you Jessica and Will!!!

This company was great. They responded quickly to my request for a quote on HomeAdvisor. They came out the very next day and cleaned out a bird's nest from our attic and made repairs for the damage done by the birds. They were also able to put bird guards on two other vents while they were there. The price was reasonable and the work was done quickly and efficiently. Very easy to work with and reliable. I recommend this firm.
